- in my quest to optimize the mail servers, i've noticed that due to a minor configuration problem we've had about 200 messages looping daily. i've changed the config and the looping has stopped. the side effect is you may suddenly receive some non-delivery reports (bounces) in your inbox. if it says: "loop detected" ignore it, these are the messages that were stuck in the system.
- also, i've changed the outgoing server to qmail which is much more efficient at sending outgoing mail anyway. you need not do anything, everything works as before. however any bounces that my servers will send to you will look different then what you're used to. again, nothing to worry about.
